Spyro Cynder LoS part 61

Morning came as everyone had met up at the beach, seeing Crimson and Krystal already waiting. Crimson turned and looked at them all, “We’re ready to go, and she’s coming too… right Spyro?” he asked staring at Spyro. “Krystal may come, as long as she doesn’t get in the way. Cynder, Saphira, Xiuhcoatl, any objections?” The three shook their heads as Xiuhcoatl stepped up to Crimson. “Tell them, who you are to me,” Xiuhcoatl said as calmly as possible. Crimson looked at everyone, “Spyro, Saphira, they already know but, Xiuhcoatl and I are brothers.”
Saphira in shock ran to Xiuhcoatl holding him close with her wing as he glared at Crimson, “Xiuh is it true?” He nodded as he tried to wrap his tail in hers but she refused as she backed away. “What is it Saph, why are you moving away from me? This means nothing.” “Cynder told me what he did, how are you related to such a terrible dragon? Are you going to be like him too?” she asked hiding under Cynder’s wing. “Saphira, I love you, I’ll never turn on you, or anyone else. He was under Malefor’s control, please Saph, don’t do this to me.” The ice dragoness slowly left Cynder’s wing and walked up to Xiuhcoatl, “I’m sorry Xiuh,” she said as he smiled.
“Spyro,” Crimson started as he walked by the couple, “What do you need me… us to do? I am a fire dragon and Krystal is a water dragon. We will help anyway possible.” Spyro raised a brow curious as to red dragon’s new attitude, “What’s with the sudden change in your tone? You seem serious this time.” Krystal walked up standing beside Crimson, “We are, and we’re sorry about how we acted last night. I’m sorry Saphira, it won’t happen again,” she said kissing her new mate.
“I thought you said you could never trust her Crimson,” Cynder said curiously. He looked around at the others for a second as he paused and took in a deep breath, “I guess I always had a thing for her, I just waited for her to grow up.” Xiuhcoatl got curious about that statement as he asked, “Which brings up something I want to ask you two, how old are you two?” Krystal giggled, “Curious little dragon aren’t you? Well if you must know, your brother is seventeen and I am sixteen. Anymore questions… or can we move on?” Crimson let out a chuckle as he walked to a cliff, “Just to let you guys know now… I still have those powers. The ones Malefor gave me.”
“Crimson, we all have some kind of power from someone, don’t worry we won’t judge you on that,” Cynder said softly. She winked at Crimson as she leaned her head on Spyro’s shoulder. “Well, we should get moving, we have a long flight ahead of us,” Spyro said as he looked at Crimson. “Where are we going?” Crimson asked in a low voice. “To Delaluna,” Xiuhcoatl quickly responded. “We’re going to be expected so, we better move,” he said as he flew ahead, Saphira trying to keep up with him. “Spyro… I’ll talk to Xiuh while we fly there.” He nodded as he followed and caught up to Saphira, “Hey Saph, I need to talk to you. Come fly with me over here,” he said as the two slowed down and began flying behind the group.
“Xiuh, it’s me Cynder, come on talk to me,” she said as she placed her paw over his, flying under him. “It’s… Crimson and Krystal. I finally meet someone from my family and I think I hate him….” Xiuhcoatl began. “Why do you hate him?” “Because….he killed our family, but they hated me anyway. I guess it’s because, after all these years… I’ve been so alone and he’s been alive this whole time.” “What about Krystal?” “I’m not sure but, I think… I think I have feelings for her…” Xiuhcoatl said as he slowed down and began to fly in place. “Go ahead guys, we’ll catch up,” Cynder said as she pulled Xiuhcoatl with her tail to slowly follow the others.
“Xiuh, come on tell me everything…” she said trying to convince him. “Guys!” the black dragoness yelled, “We need to land for a bit!” Everyone found a strange land but not a second thought crossed any of their minds as they all saw Xiuhcoatl’s saddened face. Saphira immediately noticed and walked up to him when they landed. “Xiuh… is everything alright with you? You’ve been acting strange ever since the island.” He looked at her as a tear ran down his eye, “I’m sorry Saphira,” he said as he ran. “Xiuh!” she called and she began to run as Cynder jumped in the way. “Let me handle this Saph, I understand most of what he’s going through.” Cynder followed Xiuhcoatl as quickly as possible as she noticed him stop at a wall.
“Cynder, why are you following me?” Xiuhcoatl said as he turned around changing to his light form. “Xiuh, don’t do this. You’re becoming like Vritra, don’t do this to yourself and Saphira. Think about the future you two could have. You said something about Krystal… tell me, I won’t tell anyone.” Krystal walked in curiously, “What does he want with me Cynder?” Xiuhcoatl’s eyes shot up as his head remained away from Krystal. He watched her tail sway in the air, he followed her slender body up and stopped at her eyes. “That’s why, they remind me of Saphira.”
